Hey y’all! Happy springtime! This was an epic training day! I ended up finishing later than I wanted, but it was beautiful outside! Training details in 3, 2, 1 and… I started my day close to 2 in the morning. I made a single dish, along with snacks on the side. (A “fuel” photo will be posted!) I made some coffee for a boost. I took a shower and then proceeded to do a warm-up. Once outside, it was time to get Spotify ready! The first 10 miles was kicked with, “Blinding Lights” by the Weeknd. The temperature was 57 degrees. I walked up a total of 18 hills. My average was 11.01!!!!!!!!! I still cannot believe that! I knew I was going at a good pace but wow! The second 10 miles was kicked off with, “Jam” by Michael Jackson. The temperature was 52 degrees. I walked up a total of 10 hills. My average pace was 11.38. I took a break during this set that was longer than intended. Due to my pace, I had to consume more protein than usual. The third 10 miles was kicked off with, “Asking for It” by Shinedown. The temperature was 54 degrees. I walked up a total of 16 hills. My average pace was 12.02. The final 10 miles was kicked off with, “Gumshield” by DON BROCO. The temperature was 63 degrees. I walked up a total of 10 hills. My overall average pace was 12.20! I am so proud of myself for my overall pace! Though, I am bummed out that I was SO close to finishing in 8 hours! This is still excellent considering the last training session was so difficult. My legs don’t hurt nowhere as last time. (Lol.)
