Hey, y’all! This #WalkForever training day was tough but quite rewarding! After what occurred last week, I kept my eye on weather. The temperature was fine, but it would be raining in the afternoon. Since it was colder during early morning hours, I decided to start the walk close to 9. It was 41 degrees at the time. The first 10 miles of kicked off with “Falling Apart” by TRUSTcompany. I walked up a total of 18 hills during this set. I had an average pace of 12.11! I was shocked when seeing this because I really thought I was walking too slow. I wore an insulated jacket and beanie during this set, which may be why I felt slower. The temperature was rising quickly. The second 10 miles was kicked off with “Hemorrhage” by Red. It was 52 degreesΒ at the time. I walked up a total of 11 hills during this set. I had an average pace of 12.17! I was getting excited everytime I saw my average pace! I had to switch to a hoodie during this set. (I also had my second cup of coffee during this set. π) The third 10 miles was kicked off with a Rock mix courtesy of Spotify. I walked up a total of 12 hills during this set. I didn’t check the temperature during this set. My average pace was now 12.22! At this point I was wondering if I may finish exactly by 8 hours! The final 10 miles was kicked off my “What You Do To Me” by Don Broco. The temperature was now 64 degrees. My legs were starting to get me during this set but I was determined to finish strong! I walked up a total of 8 hills during this set. My average pace was 12.33 during set! I did not finish at 8 hours, but my finishing time is still the fastest so far, yay! This made me so happy! My LEGS ARE KILLING ME! π (Also, it did rain but not until exactly AFTER I was done. π) What a wonderful training day, after all! I am currently checking the weather for the next week and it supposed to be in the 30s and 40s, ugh. So I shall see how things are going these next few days. Following this post will be a “Leg Progress” photo! I hope all of my followers are doing well! Thank you for keeping up with this superheroic fitness journey. I am going to let my legs heal. π Coming next: The 71st day of #WalkForever training! πββοΈ
