Hey, y’all! Happy New Year! So this winter has been the most unpredictable season, weather wise. It is either too cold, too warm or just messy weather altogether. (Ah. Climate change. š¶) It is making training much more challenging than it has to be, but I’m still doing my best to keep it going. Yesterday, I ended up waking up close to 2 in the morning. I was ready to start about a quarter after 4. The temperature outside was 70 degrees! I kicked off the walk with 2000s rock music. The walk was going well. I had an average pace of 12.44 for the first 10 miles. About 5-10 minutes after that, I started feeling rain droplets. Another 2 minutes after that, I was literally soaked. (Lol.) I decided to see how the weather would look today, and see if I could make up at least another 10 miles. I wake up to severe flooding weather. š So, training is postponed. I will keep an eye on the weather for this coming weekend. I shall post another update either the day of, or after. See y’all, until then!
