The 60th day of #WalkForever training! Chilly Weather Edition 🥶 Day 1: Complete 30 miles before noon

Hey, y’all! I apologize for this post being later than usual. This is my 60th #WalkForever post! Yay!!!! 🕺It is officially fall now so that means temperatures are dropping. (Which is both a good and bad thing.) However, I decided to still get up early so that I could complete my walk before noon anyway. I was not ready for that chill so early in the morning! It was only 52 degrees but it reminded me of when I first doing this last year. It was time to wear a hoodie again. (Lol.) Since I want to progress to 40 miles, the walk was split into 30 miles one day and 10 miles the next. The first 10 miles was kicked off with “Happy Birthday” by The Birthday Massacre. The most motivating song during this set was “Song Groove” by Michael Jackson. It was chilly but I had an average pace of 12.41 during this set. I walked up a total of 14 hills! I don’t know what was going on with my phone, but the battery was declining rapidly and I hadn’t even finished the first set! The second 10 miles was kicked off with “Sleepwalking” by The Birthday Massacre. It was still chilly with a temperature of 52 degrees. My average pace was now 13.04. Of course, that means I had to speed it up! I walked up a total of 6 hills during this set. Now, during this set, I took a break to let my phone charge. I ended up taking a much longer break than I planned. (Much longer break = 30 minutes) The final 10 miles was kicked off… IT WAS SO MUCH WARMER DURING THIS SET! THANK GOODNESSS! It was 63 degrees! Yes! Oh. Zack Snyder’s Justice League Soundtrack kicked off this set. I had an overall pace of 13.01 for this walk. I walked up 9 hills during this set. I finished 30 miles a few minutes after noon. Which probably wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t took that loooooooong break, but it was still close. The 60th day of #WalkForever continued in Day 2…
