The Moving Body

The 59th day of #WalkForever training! Day 2: Finish remaining 10 miles before 10:30 a.m. Part 1

So, I usually have a big breakfast before I complete the last 10 miles the day after I’ve completed 25 miles, and today was no different! I had vegan sausage links, tater tots and apple juice! My body was so ready for this walk! I officially started the walk at 7:55. The remaining 10 miles was kicked off with “Caught Out There” by Kelis. The most motivating song was “Coffee” by Miguel. I walked up a total of 12 hills during this set. Oh. You’re probably wondering why there is a part-one and two. So, I was walking and then my tracker decided to stop working. Thankfully, it saved what I had done so far. Now I just had to finish the remaining miles. According to my tracker, both times were the fastest I’ve walked! So that is definitely a sign of progress. I finished the remaining 10 miles at 10:29 with slightly more distance than planned. Oh. So, my shoes are starting to squeak when I walk. Which means that it is almost time to replace them! I honestly don’t feel like I’ve had these shoes that long! (Lol.) Ah, well. It is getting close to the holiday season so maybe I can get a deal on a couple new pair of walking shoes for training. I hope all followers are doing well. And I hope you all continue to follow this superheroic fitness journey! Next week will not only mark the 60th day of training, but also a year of keeping this going! *does a little dance* Here’s to more moving! 🏃‍♂️
