The 58th day of #WalkForever training! Day 1: Beat the Rain Edition! 🌧 ðŸƒâ€â™‚️

Hey, y’all! It is a new week and that means #WalkForever training is here! I, of course, checked the weather and was prepared for the unrelenting heat. To my surprise, the weather was  supposedly changing from a sunny day to a rainy day. I woke up close to 3 in the morning and checked outside for any drizzling. According to the weather, the rain would begin after 9. So, I took that as a beat of a challenge. The goal was similar to that of finishing before UV radiation was at its peak. I was going to give myself until 10:30 to walk 25 miles and try not to get rained on. I officially left for the walk at 4:20 in the morning. The first 10 miles was started with “Straight Up” by Paula Abdul. The most motivating song during this portion of the walk was “Blood on the Dance Floor” by Michael Jackson. The temperature was at 73 degrees. I did not have any Celsius before the walk but I was moving at a fast pace. I had to stop several times to add extra stretching to my right leg. During this portion of the walk, I decided to take a photo of a street I was beginning to walk down. I will make a post of that. I walked up a total of 10 hills during this portion of the walk. The second 10 miles was started with “Breathe Your Name” by Sixpence None the Richer. The temperature was still at 73 degrees. The most motivating song during this portion was “Scream” by Adelita’s Way, and a portion of a DC Comics audiobook. I walked up a total of 8 hills during this portion. As far as rain was concerned, there was an instance where I felt droplets here and there. The final 5 miles was started with “Running from me” by TRUSTcompany. I walked up a total of 3 hills during this portion. Remember those droplets? Well, it happened again at 22.20 miles and counting. I officially finished 25 miles at 10:35. Now, it was probably five minutes after that and it literally started pouring! 😳 😫 I completed the walk but still got soaked . Lol. The 58th day of #WalkForever training continued in Day 2…
