Happy Tuesday, y’all! I did some Lumber Bootcamp training yesterday but, unfortunately, I wasn’t able to record any videos. I will do some more training tomorrow though. Today’s training update is as follows… IT WAS SO COLD THIS MORNING! IT MADE ME FEEL LIKE IT WAS WINTER ALL OVER AGAIN! I had to wait until close about noon before I was confident that I wasn’t going to endure that dreaded chill. I decided to fuel up on some sandwiches, a protein shake and carrot juice. (A weird combination but it gave me the fuel I needed. Also, carrot juice is kinda addictive.) Once I was outside, the temperature was warm and tolerable. The first 10 miles were pretty smooth. The method is the same as the previous training sessions: walking in small and large circles. The second 10 miles were a little harder because that sun was starting to get to me. The temperature was in the 70s, which isn’t bad at all. But I was sweating more than usual and had to seek as many opportunities as possible to walk in the shade. The final 10 miles were where my legs started to feel heavy. I am feeling the pressure more and more in my thighs with each walk. Thankfully, I started playing “Injustice 2” on YouTube in the background on my phone. Hearing, or seeing, Batman own people always gives me just the boost I need to keep going. One thing about this walk was that I did the “big circle walk” three times, rather than two times in the previous walk. That means I have to walk up a huge hill three times, after already walking down several long roads. I didn’t realize I had to do that until the third time, and my thighs were preparing for the pressure once more! The pain is worth it though! (Lol.) Also, this walk was muuuuccccch faster than the previous efforts! (Yay!) I felt like I was going fast on this walk but I didn’t want to get my hopes up. I didn’t even check the tracker until a few hours after I started, and when I saw the results I was, happily, surprised. As with recent posts, the part 2 of this post will feature a leg progress photo! Annnnd… another training session is in the books! I appreciate y’all following this fitness journey. I hope y’all continue to move and never stop! 🙂
