The 16th Day of #WalkForever training is the fastest for 25 miles, so far!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! It is another splendid day for #WalkForever training!!! #WalkForever training update is as follows… Wow. I can’t believe it is already Thanksgiving. It sure doesn’t feel like it. So, since today was supposed to be messy weather-wise, I decided to put off the walk for an hour or so. As I was getting ready, I was trying to find a pair of socks that wasn’t coming apart at the heel. Unfortunately, almost all my socks are like that. That’s what I get for not having a specific set just for fitness. (Lol.) And I think my shoes are going to last maybe one more go around, because I almost slipped several times today due to the amount of wear on the soles. Anyway, today is currently my fastest for walking 25 miles at 5 hours and 21 minutes!!! Yay!!! From the moment I started I was so ready to do better than last time. Now, I did drink several protein shakes: one before the walk, one in the middle and one close to the end. It seemed like that gave my body just the right energy. (Though I don’t really care to ingest that much.) The walk for the most part was so smooth but there was a slight pain in my right foot. It may be due to how fast I walk. However the more I do these walks, the more I step and move properly. I’m just thankful that I am in a place where I can do this and, hopefully, keep doing this. I shall post another #WalkForever update on December 1st. As always, never stop, moving, moving and moving. Only 9 more walks until 30 miles!!!
