Happy Thor’s day!!!!! It is another wonderful day for #WalkForever training! #WalkForever training update is as follows… Today was awesome! I finished 25 miles in 5 hours and 25 minutes! That is my fastest so far! Ideally, I want to be able to do 25 miles in 5 hours but I think I’d have to at least jog. Due to the chilly weather, I had to walk in a sweat outfit but thankfully it didn’t slow me down. I stopped for some protein bars but found out they contain milk. (I’m transitioning to vegan.) So going to have to be more careful about what I pick in the morning. One annoyance today was not having anything to help with sweating. I’m usually so caught up in the walk that I don’t want to stop and wipe the sweat away. I also noticed that my legs have become so comfortable with going up and down hills. One thing about these walks is the amount of resistance against your thighs and glutes. It’s a great challenge. I think I’m going to stay at 25 miles for 25 walks. Once I reach 25 days, I will progress to 30 miles! With that in mind, 11 more days to go! Yay! I shall post another #WalkForever update on Tuesday. As always, never stop moving, moving and moving. 🙂
